About Training & Placement Cell

The Training and Placement Cell acts as an interface between the students at GKU and the industry, and enables the students to make better and more attractive career choices. These cells gives career guidance to students arranges training programmers and facilitate job placements. The placement cell invites officers from/ academia and corporate to share their knowledge and experience with students through guest lectures, workshops, and seminars, and helps those securing suitable positions. Our students have been well placed in leading private/ public sector organizations. The Training & Placement Cell firmly believes in ‘Industry – Institute Interaction’. In order to accomplish ‘Industry – Institute Interaction’, it organizes technical talks and national seminars to provide a platform for the budding engineers to interact with professionals from various industries. It encourages visit to the industries by the college students. It arranges for industrial problems to be worked on by students as part of their projects. It also takes suggestions from members of industry regarding designing/changing of curriculum. The college has signed MOUs with many industrial organization and industrial chambers. Technical paper presentation contests are held in collaboration with industries to discuss new development and trends. ‘Training and Placement Cell’ is headed by an experienced ‘Training and Placement Officer and a competent team. Department organizes practical training in modern State-of-the-Art industries. They also provide information and guidance about higher studies and job opportunities as well as training for communication skills and personality development, training for facing the interviews, Career counseling and guidance. Job placement in premier industries through campus interviews as well as off campus.

The students of GKU (formely GGS group of Institutes) are placed in companies of high repute such as Dell Internationals, IBM Bangalore, Tech Mahindra, Wipro Technologies, Infosys, Motherson Sumi, Sonalika, HCI, Aniweb Designs ATS Infotech, Info innovate, Xsys Technology, Neural Info Pvt. Ltd, Videocon, Delonti, Hero Cycles, Hughes Communication, Convergys and so many others…

The GKU is proud of conducting Two Mega Job Fests in last one year. Where more than 25 companies visited the Campus and recruited 117 students out of 1200.
